2021 Season Concludes but 2022 Information is now available

2021 Racing season has ended and we have crowned our Class Champions as of September 3rd. We are very proud of all of our competitors and staff and wish them all a great “off season” and look forward to 2022.

With that being said we have been busy working on our 2022 version of rules. schedule and registration forms pertaining to the upcoming season. We have posted everything for our competitors to look over before our upcoming meeting at the track to finalize before we get going in 2022.

The rules and registration meeting will be on OCTOBER 23rd paying close attention to all aspects of the 2022 season as well as recognizing the 2021 accomplishments by our competing drivers in an informal presentation of awards and a photo op.

The October 23rd meeting will be as follows:

1- 12:00 pm – 2021 Awards Presentation for all GBS Classes

2- 1:00 pm – 2022 General Track Rules for all Classes

3- 1:30 pm – Future Stars Rules Meeting (a) Junior Sprint (b) Rookie Truck (c) Mini Cup (d) Pro Truck (e) 9hp Mini Sprint

4- 3:00 pm – Big Cars Rules Meeting (a) Four Stock (b) Pro Stock (c) V8 Winged Sprint Cars

*Registration will be available throughout the whole meeting (from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm)

Meeting and Awards will be held at the speedway property

Come on out for some exciting racing at Grand Bend Speedway! Fun for the whole family. Racers of all ages from Jcar Divisions to NASCAR Divisions! We have Pro Late Models, Sportsmen, Four Stock and Mini Truck in our NASCAR classes plus, Jr Sprint, Outlaw Sprint, Jr Late Model and Jr Mini Truck!

ADDMISSION: $20 – ALL ACCESS – Drivers, Crew and Spectators

Kids 10 and under are FREE!

Sunday July 11th event cancelled Due to poor weather

Weather has cancelled our races for today July 11th. We resume our regular schedule next Sunday July 18th with all regular classes.

We are excited to be at our 4th week of racing already this year!! The show is ramping up in preparation for Live Streaming with CTRE Productions starting August 1st! Announcer John Houghton will be joining us this Sunday along with the addition of Opening Ceremonies and a Parade Lap!

Our new WestHold Scoring system is up and running the race results and timing can be followed on the App “RACE MONITOR”! We are excited to be able to offer our drivers, crews and fans this new addition to our Racing Experience here at Grand Bend Speedway.

  • Please Note that our Practice Time has Changed and now Starts at 12:00 noon.
  • Rookie Flag Class starts at 11:40

Sunday July 4th is the JARED DOXTATOR MEMORIAL RACE DAY!

This exciting event coincides with the FIRST Race Open to Spectators in the Past 2 Years!!

Carolyn and Tim Doxatator have sponsored the event with $200 to be disbursed to the Feature Winners of Jared’s favorite classes:

  • Sprint Cars (Outlaw Sprints & Junior Sprints)

Thursday Evening races cancelled, Next Race is Sunday

Due to unforeseen Underground electrical problems that cannot be rectified by Thursdays scheduled races, we regret to have to cancel the event.

Sundays’ Jared Doxtator Memorial Race will however go as planned (Race Itinerary will be released soon}. Races starts at 2 pm with all featured NASCAR and Home Track classes along with the Outlaw Sprints with an allowed 25% spectator attendance allowed by the Government ( certain Covid-19 regulations and protocol applies)

Grand Bend Speedway is racing again!!

We are super excited to be back at the Track doing what we all love best!!  Thank-you to all the Racing Teams that came out and Supported us last week-end. This is only the beginning of many exciting things we have planned for GBS this Season!

Sunday June 27th will be our second event of the 2021 Season. Gates open at 10:00am. We will be starting our new weekly “Rookie Flag Class”, at 11:00am. With so many New Rookies starting this year at Grand Bend Speedway, we want to bring something extra to the table to help our new Drivers develop theirs skills. This class is free with admission to anyone who wants to join!

Practice will commence at 11:30am. With Racing starting at 2:00pm.

Exciting News for our Junior Divisions!

Grand Bend Speedway is celebrating its 25th Anniversary this year!! Our Team here at GBS is working with many Amazing Sponsors to bring together Points Funds for our Junior Classes that have been the heart and soul of this Speedway. GBS may be moving in a new direction with its NASCAR Sanctioning and adding new Classes to the Bull Ring; but we do not want to forget where we came from and the racing that got this track to where it is!
