Brad Clarke Memorial Rescheduled to Saturday!

Saturday night will see the running of the rescheduled 4th-Annual Brad Clarke memorial presented by Action Trailers & Marbolt Fasteners.  Competition begins at 6:45 pm with preliminary events with the main events beginning at 8:00 pm.

The big lineup includes Pro Sprints, Outlaw Micro Sprints, Four Cylinder Compacts, Youth Micro Sprints, Kid Stock exhibition PLUS: Mini Trucks and Late Models (Rescheduled from August 22).

Public go karts are open from noon until 5 pm on race day.

Fans can bring lawn chairs and blankets and view the races from the hill, or view the races from the track grandstands. Food concessions are open with loaded nachos, pizza, ice cream and more.

Saturday’s event is the Brad Clarke Memorial held in memory of the former track promoter of Grand Bend Speedway and builder of countless vehicles in the development series. Clarke passed away in January 2022. Since 1997, Clarke dedicated himself to the promotion of racing programs for young people in the region by designing, building, and repairing the 1/2-scale racing vehicles. He became promoter of the Junior Canadian Auto Racing (JCAR) series and later became track promoter at Grand Bend Speedway.

Only three Saturday night races remain in the 2026 season at Grand Bend Speedway making Saturday’s 4th Annual Brad Clarke memorial presented by Action Trailers one not to be missed before the checkered flag flies on the racing season.

Competition begins at 6:45 pm with preliminary events with the main events beginning at 8:00 pm.

Saturday’s racing lineup features Super Late Models, V8 Sprint Cars, Mini Trucks, Outlaw Micro Sprints, Four Cylinder Compacts, Youth Micro Sprints, and a Kid Stock exhibition.

Fan Appreciation Saturday featuring Free Go-Kart Race for New Spectators

Saturday is Fan Appreciation night at GBS! Here’s what’s going on:

FREE Fan Go-Kart Race

For fans who are attending GBS for the first-time ever, or who have never participated in a Go Kart race at the track, a special fan appreciation go kart race will be held as part of the event. Open to ages 13+ with a minimum height of 5′, fans can register at the Go Kart Centre the day of the event or by contacting ontrackventures@gmail.com in advance. The driver’s meeting for the go kart race takes place 7:30 pm.

Driver Meet & Greet

At the conclusion of the qualifying races, at around 7:30 pm there will be a fan meet & greet on the front stretch. Get up close to the cars and meet the drivers before the main event gets underway at 8:00 pm!

Racing Lineup

Pro Sprints, Outlaw Micro Sprints, Four Cylinder Compacts, Youth Micro Sprints, Kid Stock, plus: Fan Go Kart Race! Preliminary events start at 6:45 pm, the fan meet and greet will take place about 7:30 pm (at the conclusion of the preliminary events), main events are set for 8:00 pm.
