Racing on Saturday at Grand Bend Speedway gets underway at 6:30 pm for the Jared Doxtator Memorial event presented by Doxtator Property Maintenance. The evening features a full slate of NASCAR Advance Auto Parts racing racing including Late Models, Bone Stocks, 9HP Sprints, and Mini Trucks.  The evening includes development competition from the Junior Sprints.  Featured in the event is the Southern Ontario Modified Series visiting the track. The Outside Groove Diner is open with a great view of the pits all night.

Our Wednesday night races are Finally here!  July 3rd marks the Season Opener. At this time the following divisions are running – Jr Sprint, 9hp Sprint, Bone Stock/Kid Stock and Late Model.

The goal of Wednesday night racing is to provide opportunity to come out, have fun and get some extra racing in without the added expenses.  In order to keep admission pricing down, there are no driver payouts for Wednesday night racing.

ADMISSION:   Pit access only for Wednesday Night Racing!

RACERS – $40 (same price as single car practice – cover practice insurance)

GENERAL (age 6+) – $10 (cover costs of event insurance, medic and staffing)

Age 5 and Under – FREE

Special Events:

The Junior Sprint division will move into a 6:30 pm Show Starter time slot starting at this Saturday’s event. National Anthems will run after that race as the first NASCAR division takes to the track for the regular 7:00 PM start time. The show starter will be the first of two 20-lap events for the Junior Sprints, the second of which is run as part of the regular program. An updated itinerary will be posted to the track website for drivers indicating any updates to practice times and pre-race driver’s meeting scheduling.

The goal of the lineup change is to help events finish at an earlier time, especially for the youngest drivers, and to encourage fans to come to the track earlier to enjoy the Outside Groove Diner Fan Experience and the sights and sounds of the track.

Junior Sprint competition is open to kids up to age 14 years old. The 6.5 horse power sprint cars are the entry-level class at Grand Bend Speedway that allow kids to have fun and learn the ins and outs of racing.

Grand Bend Speedway’s 2024 season is set to get underway Saturday at 7:00 PM. The event will be the debut of the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series (NAAPWS) at the track. The lineup features NAAPWS competition from the Late Models, Mini Trucks, Bone Stocks, and 9HP sprints. The evening also features a visit from the Southern Ontario Modified Association and development competition from the Junior Sprints.

The 2024 season schedule features nine Saturday NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series events running the track’s signature double features format.

Considerable work has gone into preparing the track for Saturday’s opener. Facility work has been taking place during the off season to improve the fan and driver experience. Most of these improvements have been kept under wraps to keep the surprise for fans and drivers. Some of the improvements will be ongoing throughout the season and into 2025.

Saturday’s event will also be live streamed through the track’s Facebook page.

About the Track: Grand Bend Speedway is a NASCAR-sanctioned 1/4 mile paved Tri-Oval race track. Originally built in 1996 for small-scale vehicles it was later expanded into the track of today which can accommodate both half-size development series as well as full-size race cars in addition to its daily Go Kart and racing experience attractions that run during the summer. The track is located just outside the town of Grand Bend beside the Grand Bend Motorplex facility.
