7th Annual Jared Doxtator Memorial Event Saturday

Action is the attraction Saturday at GBS rare lineup that sees the Super Late Models & V8 Sprint Cars in competition on the same night for the 7th Annual Jared Doxtator Memorial event. For the V8 Sprints, a handful of drivers have told the track they are planning to make the haul up from Michigan to try out GBS. Racing on Saturday is sponsored by Camp Canada RV. Preliminary events get underway just after 6:45 pm with the main events set for 8:00 pm.

Also in competition are the Mini Trucks, Outlaw Micro Sprints, and Four Cylinder Compacts. Fans will also see development racing from the Youth Micro Sprints and Kid Stock program.

Go Karts are open to the public from noon until 5:00 pm allowing spectators to take to the track themselves with friends and family.

Entry at Grand Bend Speedway is “all-access for all” which provides spectators a chance to go to the pits and see behind the scenes as drivers prepare for the races.

The event on Saturday is held in honour of long-time Grand Bend Speedway announcer, Jared Doxtator, who passed away in September, 2019. Jared was always a friendly face and recognizable voice at the track announcing also at Delaware Speedway.
