Grand Bend Speedway Updates

Great Lakes Legends This Saturday

The Great Lakes Legends Series returns to Grand Bend Speedway this Saturday.  Racing starts at 7:00 pm and features a full card of racing with 9 HP Sprints, 4 Cylinders, V8 Late Models, Mini Trucks, and development competition from the Junior Sprints and Junior Late Models.

Saturday is also a fan appreciation night with a special driver meet & greet session at the intermission that will let fans get up close to the racing vehicles.

The Great Lakes Legends are a fast-growing touring series in Ontario that makes use of the popular Legends cars seen at many tracks in the USA.  The cars themselves are 5/8-scale fiberglass full-fendered versions of the famed NASCAR modifieds from the 1930s and 1940s powered by 125 HP Yamaha engines weighing in at 1,250 lbs.

General admission seating includes access to the lawn chair area as well as the grandstand. Pits are open free of charge after the event to get an up close look at the racing vehicles.

Saturday’s driver itinerary can be found on the schedule page.
