Carter Nichol (#52) of Ailsa Craig won his first-ever feature race in the second 4 Cylinder feature on Saturday night at Grand Bend Speedway, part of the Jared Doxtator Memorial event.  Kyle Neumeister (#92) of Mitchell took the win in the first feature race even after dropping several positions mid-race with power issues.

Mason Collver (#20) of Strathroy took home the checkered flag in both 25-lap Mini Truck races.  Quinn Goertz (#18) of Ilderton continued to impress with a pair of second place finishes in his first season after moving up from the rookie truck division.

Jerry Broom (#93) of Dashwood won the second feature race in the V8 Late Models while the first race of the night was won by Jeramy Curtis (#77) of Durham.  Mike Beneteau (#33) of Grand Bend won both features in the 9HP Sprints.  The second feature race saw an unbelievable thirty-one lead changes between himself and Corey Hamilton (#8) of Thedford.

In development competition, Max Lloyd (#6x) of London won his first-ever race in the Junior Sprints in the first 25-lap race.  The second 25-lap event was won by Collin Klumper (#11) of Mitchell.  Grayson Masson (#9) of Ingersoll took him his first Grand Bend Speedway win this season in the Junior Late Models.  The other Junior Late Model race was won by Judah Buesink (#22) of Strathroy.

The next racing at Grand Bend Speedway is Saturday, June 17.  The Father’s Day weekend event features the Southern Ontario Modified Association (SOMA), V8 Late Models, 4 Cylinders, 9HP Sprints, and development competition from Junior Sprints.  There will also be a King of the Hill Spectator’s race.  The event is set to be live streamed to the track’s Facebook page to showcase the competition taking place at the track.
