NCTS Heads to Canada (Battle Creek, MI) The National Compact Touring Series presented by Rev X Oil is excited to announce our first event outside of the United States.

The tour will be heading to North of the border to Grand Bend Speedway in Ontario, Canada. The D-shaped 1/4 mile asphalt track will host the first ever “Battle at the Border 50” featuring drivers from the United States and Canada on Saturday, July 30th, 2022.

The Grand Bend Speedway also host a road course and drag strip at the racing venue. The Parkhill, Ontario venue also will host free camping for our race teams allowing them to make this a family vacation. There are many tourist attractions near the speedway that will make this a family event. “We are planning this to be a yearly event to help grow the oval track at our speedway,” stated, Gord Bennett, Grand Bend Speedway Promoter “You have to plant a seed to grow the tree before it blooms to make this a special event.”

The National Compact Touring Series was preparing to invade Canada over the last few years before the pandemic hit. The Canadian market is expected to help the growth the of series for larger future events in Michigan and New York. With the Canadian border reopening this year its basically a passage connecting Michigan to New York. The National Compact Touring Series 2022 schedule is nearing completion and is expected to be released in November.
